I agree it’s not a great look, but does Dee understand it’s the same 8-10 people posting the same thing over and over again. It’s all anonymous so who knows the real affiliation of those posting.
Look these are “chat boards” , so if you are a true Gator fan post your opinion and move on, (follow up with the UAA if you feel the need) but this constant barrage of negativity doesn’t accomplish a thing if you really are a Gator fan.
None of us are ecstatic about the last 12 or so years, but the solution is not to run down our current coach before he even coaches a game. That’s the very definition of counter intuitive reasoning.
We all have our own opinions, that is not only acceptable, it’s desirable, but there is a point where it becomes destructive… we are just about at that point… my opinion.

 

I'd say Katie and the staff doesn't care and have both the class and skill to navigate the idiocracy.

I have been questioning the affiliation thing as well but we surely have our fair share of jackasses. We unfortunately won’t ever know.

 

Couple of points -
1) Hmmmm I guess recruits DO READ recruiting boards! LOL
2) Ohio State should just move their campus to Florida. I'm thinking somewhere deep in the Florida side of the Okefenokee and BAN the sale of mosquito repellant. 2006 and 2007 bitches......

 

Not only that we have Florida home-grown kids that we should be focusing on... Florida kids deserve more of our recruiting attention. Having said that we shouldn't exclusively recruit in Florida alone, but that we should recruit far more in Florida than any kid from California. It's not really worth our time and effort.

They did, it was a practice field with bleachers. But it had a breathtaking bag on the 50 yard line.

 

I love those classic fsu/syracuse matchups, glad that rivalry remains intact.

 

Think people are really underestimating how unimportant that us for some of these kids. Miami with a stack of cash is a completely different allure than a college town like Gainesville even with the upgraded facilities. It just depends on what a kid is looking for. Some are going to go for the substance and others are going to be enamored with the nightlife and energy of Miami. I doubt Miami is emphasizing their facilities on these visits. More likely 5 star restaurants, world class nightlife and celebrity. NIL and a terrible schedule is setting up well for that cesspool of a program that was on the verge of extinction before.

 

True. Miami is a different city when you’re making millions than if you’re a college student. I’m sure they were getting paid before, but not like this. Most kids that age would prefer a city like Miami to Gainesville, given that much money. Napier has his work cut out for him to figure out how to sell a college town to millionaires.

 

But still, how many of a complete roster are going to have that typ of cash? 10? Not sure they can afford to get a complete roster like that. Getting a top qb is definitely good for perception.
