The more things change the more they stay the same.

I'm going to propose that over the last two cycles we saw a complete flip in our strategy and it definitely worked last time. Two years ago we had an absolutely incredible June and then we lost a bunch of players at the last minute. Last year we seemingly made nothing public and flew under the radar for basically the entire cycle and then suddenly had a top 10 class.

I know other schools aren't doing this right now but I'd also suggest that this is the team Napier wants and literally none of these commits matter right now if we have a great season. Then there will be a flood of new NIL money which will in turn enable a late cycle like we had last year.

Not saying "trust the process" but I am saying recruiting has changed getting bent out of shape about recruiting in May has proven to be nothing more than a personal choice. Not to mention - two years ago the boom wasn't until June. We could have a cycle like that one as well.

5 teams have really pulled ahead of everybody else, and as to Oregon (until their benefactor dies) and Texas there is no stopping them. OSU has the biggest fan base, so they will also be hard to compete with. We have to hope to overtake Bama and Georgia.

CBN is rightly criticized, but if some are only looking at wins, we were a whisker from being tied for 4th in the league with the likes of Bama, who didn't have near our number of injuries to key players. It is hard to win in the SEC. I expect the next SEC champ to be a 2 loss team. That will leave Bama wondering if they have the right guy and Georgia asking if Smart is past it now.

We must be beating Texas and Georgia this year. Who gives them their other loss.

Georgia plays Ole Miss, Bama, Tennessee, Auburn, and us. Minimum 1 of them is a loss, likely more.

Texas also plays Buckeyes, OU, and aTm. Likely a loss in there.

And yes, we beat both, spanking Texas at home.

And after all say things like: Was there ever any doubt; I knew we would win 10 but did not want to jinx it; Kirby Smart was crying in his post game; Texas does not belong in the SEC; Billy Napier owns the league.
