bingo. And while the OL play hasn’t been as expected, i’m pretty sure it’s hard to block at a high level when everyone knows whats coming. easy to defend the pass when our WR’s usually are near each other with their routes
This may have been posted previously. Probably more telling. I knew we would miss Dixon and wished we had gotten a transfer at OT, but RT continues to be a problem, and Kearney hasn't really pushed to make that RG position better. 3/5 of an OL doesn't work, and if ever we needed the running game it's now. The whole offense is just so sad. Every game I'm just scared we can't get a safety to preserve our scoring streak.
yep and tbh, I felt Caden Jones has shown some flashes at RT and Kearney at RG, but they aren’t going to be given the full load cause we continue to rotate them with George and Lovett. I’m not saying that Kearney and/or Jones are great or anything, I just think they’re better than the former
I dont know what is up with George, if just a weight thing. He hasn't been effective as he was last year. I dont see in Lovett what they saw last year to think they didn't need a transfer at tackle. I know there is a lot of projecting of what someone will be on the OL, but with NIL and portal, you dont have to project. I suppose they expected Manuel too and that was bad luck. But at OT, you have to have 3 that are starters. We have 1.
So kryptonite - My assumption is that the Napier game plan will be to run "right" for the majority of carries going forward? Trust the process - right? right?
The dude just has no accountability. He talks the talk, but he does not walk the walk. I used to think he was good person, I don’t believe he is.
It's his way of fooling his opponents. He uses his weaknesses to attack his opponents. Uses his blocking TE as playmaking receivers. Brilliant.
We're right on target with injuries decimating the positions we knew to be thin before the last portal period.
