So what does collusion mean to you?

I get that you think that it means something significant but to someone that has spent 20+ years in the IC, it appears to be word games since there was no US IC collection. It is also coming from a lifelong Democratic lawyer that served in two Democratic Admins and was responsible for screwing up the Arthur Anderson case for their work on ENRON. He is now a commentator on MSNBC. He hosted a podcast for the network called Prosecuting Donald Trump and wrote a book called Where Law Ends: Inside the Mueller Investigation .

I always landed on the side of incompetence and morons. Getting excited about everything without any guardrails, context or logical thought. Played like a cheap violin.

Like social media on same topics.

And then there is the coverup. ;)

In that election there was an amazing amount of people who didn't know who to vote for. They relied on social media for news and was exposed to false information where other people just reposted without even looking at the article. Not that the "article" was real.

trump won against two women, look for the pasty white guy on the dem side who will promise normalcy again and ya'll are cooked.

Mueller was responsible for the report. I have had many, many lawyers work on legal matters for me over the years. When I’m the guy in charge, I take responsibility for every single work product. As for what was meant by collusion in this particular matter, the Trump team cooperated with the Russians with respect to the Russians’ interference in the 2016 presidential election. Instead of refusing to cooperate with the Russians and making the Russian interference known to the country, the Trump team was only too happy to have the Russians interfere in the election to Trump‘s benefit. of course that behavior was only a prelude to what happened in 2020 with Trump, to this day, lying his ass off about his having won the 2020 election.

OK, how did the Trump Campaign work with the Russians on the hack of the DNC and the work of the IRA on social media? Please provide the details on how the communicated to collude on those efforts.

Did you actually watch Mueller’s testimony?

Met with an agent of Russia, which they lied about even after being notified it was an agent of Russia.

I like your logic though. Anyone caught up in espionage ought to try it, like those two alleged Chinese spies they just caught: “Hey, I wasn’t handing any information to China. It wasn’t a spy ring. I was just talking to *A* Chinese!”

There was no need for collusion, that was always the farce of Russiagate. There was already a collusion of self interests (both wanted Hillary to lose). Why take the risk of making it official when you're already working toward the same goal? Not even sure how actual "collusion" would have made anything more favorable for Trump.

Again, they were miles ahead of MAGA on stuff like this. That's my point, amateur MAGA had nothing to offer the Russians that they weren't already miles ahead of them on. So, did Russia interfere? Yes. Clearly! Was there collusion between Russia and MAGA? No point. MAGA would probably just screw it up.

Oh I doubt there was real collusion, I just think they knew what they were doing and kept mum. Didn't trump say in an interview that he would accept help from a foreign country should they approach him with dirt on an opponent?

Yes, he did. It's actually pretty obvious, to be honest. Manafort may have tried and maybe that's why MAGA ditched him. Think Bobby Bowden and the layers of insulation designed so he would never know about any malfeasance by his players or staff.

Why are we still even talking about an election that took place nine years ago? Seems like there is some smoke out there about Obama (and Hillary too) but this country has been through too many witch hunts the last several years and let’s move on.

Of course, I am 100% sure the same will continue against Trump for not only the next three years, but for as long as he is alive. And while I completely understand the need to hold elected politicians accountable (especially Presidents), but the great majority of these investigations are basically ridiculous wastes of time and money.

He’s trying hard to change the topic of him being a very close friend and spending a lot of time for years and years with Epstein who sex trafficked minors to the wealthy.
