I go there quite a bit. Great mountain biking and the major MTB networks in Bentonville area are connected via paved bike paths. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and breweries along the bike paths too. You can do all sorts of errands without ever getting into a car.
On my short list for retirement.

Cyclists obey traffic laws. Never going to happen. Cars and pedestrians are fairly predictable, cyclists, nope.

A gaggle of the spandex clad middle aged crisis folks go through my area a few times a month. Narrow farm lanes with soft shoulders. Bunched up tighter than their man buns.

If people are going to ride bikes on the roads they should be forced to buy a tag like other vehicles using the road. They run races out in the country on two lane roads that have speed limits of 55 MPH and block the lanes for the people that live and work in the area.

Yep, Copenhagen and Helsinki are the same way. Cyclists everywhere. They are way more eco-friendly, in the big cities at least.

What I find bizarre are bike lines along side major roads that end at the entrance to an expressway. Never see them being used but who the hell thought that was a good idea.

Yep been to Amsterdam a few times and clearly bikers rule the road in urban areas similar to SUVs and trucks in the US.. Pedestrians beware. Relatedly, a lot of "interesting" looking bikes over there.

Bentonville? It’s considered the mountain bike capital of America. I guess Walmart puts a lot of money back into the community and has funded some great trails there. One of reasons I like trail riding ….no cars…

A couple of the Walmart heirs are big into biking and have put in millions, I believe.
