Sounds horrible. Since we both live in the States, we'll both will be blamed by the world for this travesty that Trump allowed or is the blame or wtf...

If you're cool with shooting women in the vagina as long as it's an act of war, than that's on you. And that wouldn't be equal treatment, unless of course you'd also try to shoot a man in his genitals too. Personally I kind of think if you're aiming for genitals of either sex, even during war, you're probably a little wrong in the head, but you do you.

War is hell. You don’t know what atrocities have been committed by either side. You also have the typical American attitude that America knows best and anyone doing things that go against your way of thinking and morality must be wrong. When you try to apply the American way of thinking to actions made by a different culture, they won’t always line up. And it’s pure arrogance to believe that you know better than the people actually living through the events as to what is better for them. Not everyone shares your ideals, and in fact, some people would view them as a weakness to be exploited.

You don’t have the context of his statement, whether he meant it as a crude joke that is typical in his culture, but automatically look at it through your prism of American self-righteousness that since it offends MY sensibility, than it MUST be wrong. Hate to tell you, but the world doesn’t revolve around America.

I just always see you advocating equal opportunities for women and men in the military regardless of ability, but in this case, women are the fairer sex that need to be protected.

I disagree......any president that SAYS they are factoring human rights in foreign policy is flat out lying....Obama's record as evidence.

Personally, I just hope that the US can avoid a war with the Philippines, so that Trump doesn't get shot in the hand.

The U.S. has been notorious in publicly preaching human rights like we are the experts. We aren't, and you should praise in public and counsel in private. We have been ass backwards for years and it has gotten us and the world exactly nowhere.

Our definition of human rights is not exactly shared throughout the world. Not even close.

Ok, well keep trying. Or you can just admit you were wrong and be done with it.

wait, are you really saying that Cuba has one of the worst records of human rights abuses? Only because I can't provide a link to the UN which is pay only?

What does link access have to do with the Cuban governments record on human rights?

I'm saying Cuba isn't anywhere close to number 1 on a human violations list. If you're going to make a statement, be prepared to back it up, or be prepared to say you were wrong. North Korea is obviously far worse on human rights than Cuba is, and quite a few other nations are as well.
