Thought we might get some live comments before the two sides get their talking points out.
Opened with thoughts and prayers for gun violence in Wisconsin. Hope he does better against viruses.
“If the democrats want to spend more we’ll take it.” Good response.
He just admitted he had no idea how many people the Flu kills. I N T E R N E T is a good thing.
Sounds so far like he is trying to make people feel more comfortable.
Not much to praise or criticize so far. Pretty straight forward with lots of self praise but nothing crazy as of yet.
Pretty much agree. Until he said he’s putting Pence in CHARGE. Lol
I'm thinking committing the full 8.5 billion Schumer wants up front might be an invitation for a lot of unnecessary spending. I don't know how such things work but why not commit to a lesser amount like say 3 billion. It could always be increased if needed.
I have no idea how much we should spend but I know both parties aren’t gonna underspend when the other can point to them and say “you killed people with your budget”.
If there one guy I want in charge of a problem that requires a belief in science, it’s the guy who called evidence against big tobacco weak, supported gay conversion therapy, claimed the earth is cooler than it was 50 years ago, and thinks evolution is bunk.
He’s gonna get the job done. Probably by promoting Bakker’s silver cure, or asking people to pray it all away.
Idiot press is already working on talking points. This isn't about the stock market.
LOL it isn't bout what Nancy Pelosi says....press is on top of this now.
At least the Japan press is taking it seriously.
Awesome news conference!
I'm so proud of this president. We finally have one who is looking out for the people.
I’m just glad he didn’t suggest nuking the virus.
Trump suggests 'nuking hurricanes' to stop them hitting America – report
You do know Trump called for a 16% cut to the CDC Budget?
Press corp pleading for the president to do more press conferences as he leaves.......wow......that's impressive!
He very skillfully called out Pelosi for trying to politicized the outbreak, and create a panic. He made it clear he wanted to work with everyone to make sure things were under control. I appreciated his proclivity to try and work with everyone regardless of which aisle they sit.
Good for Trump on this one. Don’t know if I’ll ever utter those words again.
