Always somebody else's fault. Just own what you voted for and who you are.

Interesting that you would blame Obama for racism tho.. That is telling. Disappointing, but telling.

Funny, break out the mirror dude. You're delusional. I'm good and quite comfortable but if you don't want to own your vote that's on you.
Congrats tho, you successfully outed yourself in your earlier post.
I'm not into your usual name calling schtick name, so Adios.

The difference is clear. I have taken responsibility for my vote. You have not. You think you’re holier than thou with your toxic Obama vote.
This is why I rarely debate in TH…so many bad faith, dishonest posters.
You can’t possibly be that blind to think Obama wasn’t the primary cause of division in America.
    Own it, its truth.

if you believe that, I’m sorry. We don’t play any role in this election of a presidential candidate

this system is broken from 2 feet in the ground all the way to the the roof.

if the collective we can do it, you tell the rest of us what you and I, the man down the street can do because I have to tell you it’s nothing

Just to clarify, your suggestion is to give up because you believe we don't have any role that we can play?

That's the level of response I'd expect from someone posting literal Russian propaganda sources.

I think it’s more complex than that. I voted for McCain and Romney, and there hasn’t been a day where I regretted my vote. I thought Obama was far too liberal as President, and I thought his foreign policy made us weaker across the globe.

But, I also don’t blame Obama for dividing us. I think our Country was badly stung, and still in pain, over the Iraqi intelligence failures, and the people voted accordingly. But I think there was a sharp divide that began to rip, and the Republicans didn’t hesitate to rip at the corners and embrace the ugly. And the Dems fought back, just as hard and just as ugly.

And then Trump came, and through his pulpit silently, tacitly made it ok to hate, refusing to condemn anyone who supported his reign. That, coupled with the ultimately abusive me-too and cancel culture, just jackhammered the middle and forced people to make a choice where they stood—to the left or to the right of that growing rupture. And people not only chose, they double-downed to ensure their choice was “right” and everyone else was “wrong.” And Trump one again relentlessness fed that anger, that need-to-be-right.

So here we sit, with everyone pointing fingers, desperate to be right, demanding to win. All while losing objectivity, focus, perspective, integrity and even the ability to discern truth from propaganda.

When do we focus on fixing this mess?

'Slap in the face': Veterans group shreds Trump VA cuts on Memorial Day

Political action committee VoteVets spent Memorial Day targeting the administration of President Donald Trump over significant cuts it imposed at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

"Gutting VA will result in delayed appointments and substandard care, leading directly to more veteran deaths. In fact, as reports and internal documents now prove, Elon Musk's wrecking ball is causing systems to fail, putting veterans at risk," said Kayla Williams, Iraq Veteran and senior policy advisor at VoteVets, in a post on X. "It's a slap in the face to all who have worn the uniform in defense of our nation."

In addition to cutting agency contracts, Newsweek reports administration officials are reducing the VA workforce by 82,000 staffers, which is nearly 20 percent of the agency. In early May, Federal News Network reported more than 14,000 VA employees applied to leave their jobs through separation incentives the administration pushed onto employees. Most of these jobs were in health-care positions, which could lengthen veteran wait times and service for health issues.

I remember that time when Trump vetoed medical care for the veterans who were exposed to toxic burn pits and suffering with cancers and neurological diseases. Biden expanded VA care to include the burn pit victims.

Another reason to find his support of vets to be shaky at best. The PACT Act was one of Joe's best moves. I’m still trying to get a rating under the Pact Act, the VA being the VA, at least they're consistent.

You literally said there's nothing we can do and that we don't play a role in this election of a presidential candidate. What's one supposed to take away from those comments? Sorry, your posts are confusing.
