From what? Were any ICE agents harmed? Why can't they defend themselves? Why couldn't the LAPD give a hand? Why did Trump have to go nuclear (Call in the National Guard! And the Marines!) Because he's a vainglorious idiot, that's why.

 

ICE agents were prevented from doing their job and LAPD was slow to respond. Why were they slow? Probably because its a sanctuary city so they weren't interested in helping ICE.

 

I assume this was a Google search gone wrong, but I do recollect right wingers on here doing this with some frequency (posting old news as if it’s suddenly germaine again). Certain news aggregators used have issues with this or were being manipulated, so you’d see the zombies discussing the same old news.

Seems many want to conflate protest with looting/violence. No excuse for violence/looting. Protest is in our national DNA.

Trump's the most famous politician in America. His projection of strength may help limit the number of illegals taking to the streets.

2006; Roughly 1M took to the streets of LA seeking amnesty from the weak President Bush, John McCain and Teddy Kennedy. They were peaceful.

2025: 10,000 have taken to the streets. Not peaceful. Most are not showing themselves because they know Trump means business.

How big an Insurrection are the Democrats and communists willing to pay for? If things start to get out of control then it may be necessary to "shoot to kill."

 

If communist funders are behind these protests we better get control of things before they can get a massive foothold with their radical agenda like they have done in much of western Europe.

 

Wasn't this supposed to be about MS-13, murderers, and rapists? When did that change? If ICE starts going to Home Depots and random restaurants to round people up, then you're going to see more people protest because it very obviously isn't about deporting criminals or gang members.

They're trying to provoke blue states and blue city mayors to make this an us against them situation and use any pushback as a pretense to send in more National Guard or military. It's not even the least bit subtle.

"Including" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there since it provides cover to also indiscriminately detain people who haven't committed any crimes. This escalated when they started rounding people up at Home Depot and other businesses. Stephen Miller said they should just go to 7-11 and start grabbing people.

This is the same thing we saw with the deportations to CECOT. There were a lot of bad guys, but they also snuck in several people without criminal history based simply on tattoos or clothing.
