    One obvious end result of defunding / dismantling FEMA will be that disaster-prone states will likely lose significant populations. Think along the lines of the midwest's 1930's era Dust Bowl exodus.
    People who can afford resilient homes or pay for cleanup & repair may stay; those who cannot will go elsewhere OR strain local resources.
    Will the millionaires and billionaires pitch in to help? Highly doubtful.
