And their funding is debated and approved every year.

I didn't think the Congress had passed a budget for years . . . only a series of Continuing Resolutions and Omnibus Spending Bills. Is that wrong? Have they debated and passed a budget?

Well then, he may as well take out CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and MSNBC. Finish the job, Dear Leader.

I don’t see why there can’t be a Newsmax 2 and a Newsmax 3. Or maybe could do a Newsmax East and a Newsmax West in addition to regular Newsmax.

Well I'm sure there is a ghoulish billionaire who wants to starve granny and torture immigrants willing to pay for it somewhere, and any number of failed entertainers willing to be the talent

No issues here as long as the next step is to defund religion. Tax breaks for nothing more than GOP organizations has to go. Lets get government out of religion. I dont want tax dollars going to them.

I think you’re confused. An omnibus spending bill is what most people refer to as the budget. A CR is basically a continuing of spending at the previous years level. So when they say that congress passes the budget, what they really mean is congress has passed the spending bills. It can be in the form of multiple spending bills or one omnibus bill.

Sometimes you get both a CR and Omnibus ... aka the Cromnibus

Yes, but congress is still doing their job. The CR is narrowly focused.

Yeah, just saying sometimes they happen at the same time as part of some larger deal and negotiations. Most of the criticism of the omnibus stuff has been from conservatives, who want individual votes on appropriations. But they learn to love them when in power.

A continuing resolution is a short term budget. An omnibus spending bill is a budget. I am not sure what point you are trying to make.

NPR article: Cannibalism; It's perfectly natural.

"In the book, you describe getting invited over for dinner by one of your sources to eat her placenta. How was that? Was it good?

Yeah, it was really the prep that made it taste good. Granted, the [husband] was a chef and so he knew how to prepare it osso bucco style and used a really nice wine I had brought. It smelled great. It didn't taste bad. I wouldn't do it again. I don't have any regrets I did this."

Trump’s EO will just make NPR and PBS stronger. They will outlast him or any other politician. Counter culture crowd sourced media has gained a unique appeal with the youth. They are the original and do it very well.

If NPR and PBS are as good as some say, they will survive without government subsidies.
