Find me another politician this side of George Wallace yelling segregation forever with this kind of 40-50 year long race baiting rhetoric who wasn’t a segregationist and maybe there’s room for a conversation about whether the man is an abject racist or simply a fool.

Until then, walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it ain’t a goose.

I love when he doubles down-now demands an apology from the 4 congresswomen for their “foul language” and the “terrible things” they have said.

Pot meet kettle. You can’t make this up.

It doesn't hurt him to double down because his base doesn't care. Most of them think the same or will even say exactly the same thing as they huddle up with like minded racists.
Hell, he will get bonus points with his base because they believe being an open bigot is just "telling it like it is".

That's just the tip of the iceberg with him, but yeah, he has told us who he is and what he stands for, repeatedly.

How would you categorize programs like Operation Peter Pan or the Mariel Boatlift? Or “wet foot, dry foot?”

Were these immigration policies okay because they were for the benefit of a certain group?

    He tweets again:

If Democrats want to unite around the foul language & racist hatred spewed from the mouths and actions of these very unpopular & unrepresentative Congresswomen, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I can tell you that they have made Israel feel abandoned by the U.S.

Washington (CNN)The most shocking thing about Donald Trump's racist tweets is that possibly the most fundamentally un-American outburst of modern presidential rhetoric did not come remotely as a surprise.

The second most shocking aspect of an episode that would have rocked any other administration is that the President knows he can trade in such base tactics because he will pay no price in a Republican Party cowed by his fervent political base.

Many GOP voters and lawmakers are uncomfortable with Trump's conduct and sentiments. But most are sufficiently satisfied with the ideological direction of his presidency that they are willing to turn a blind eye to such behavior, making it a useful political weapon as he seeks to drive a rampant base turnout in 2020.

That's what's interesting about the whole thing ... like Trump gives any thought to his racism or cares what anyone thinks. The people really working the hardest in all this are the ones that keep having to come up with reasons why the stuff he says and does aren't racist or that there's some 3D chess strategy. There isn't. Trump just tweets the same vile crap some TH posters have written here for years, that's why they like him.

You guys are making this about race. I bet at least two of those women fall into the category of caucasian. This is more about country of origin than race.
