No it means the senators did not do their job as impartial jurors and broke their oath to do so. The evidence, in both cases, was overwhelming.

Do you think the dems would vote to convict Biden if he pulled something like Ukraine?

You need some serious deprogramming. Trump cult is largest cult ever. What is amazing is that every single person that actually gets close to the man recognizes his delusion and bolts.

How do you explain why nobody that knows him ever sticks by him if they arent being paid hugely to do so?

I hope that he gets hit with a slew of civil suits by those harmed physically or psychologically by the events of Jan 6

OT..what do you think of cram down move by Ross to force Trump to sell his stake in NY and San Fran properties?

Perhaps we should start a thread on all the crap Trump is facing.

Chicago property has been cooling building with river water without a permit for 6 months now and about to be hit with major fines. DEP should go sever connections to river and shut building down

Bit still seriously doubtful that they would vote to convict. Both parties favor party over country at this point.

Hard to make that claim outside of conjecture. While republicans have failed miserably twice, Democrats have never been put to the test. You are allowed your opinion of course, but it is still conjecture.

His legal troubles are far from over, but the most damaging will likely come from New York. They have the most political clout and resources outside of the federal government and there will be some DA looking to make a political career out of throwing Trump in jail.

You disagree with the fact that 81 million Americans voted against trump?

Not a thing. Even McConnell admitted that Trump can be prosecuted. Actually part of McConnell's rationale for voting to acquit. In fact, even Trump's own attorney (Bruce Castor) admitted that Trump could be prosecuted.

Roth, not Ross correct? I think the writing is on the wall. Tried to sell two icon skyscrapers. Didn’t work and then could not refinance them either. Doubt anything criminal occurred there (who knows).

After two failed attempts with Trump’s name on it, you know who has the leverage in the art of this deal.

And Trump Tower Chicago is one of my favorite hotels in the country, so hope it doesn’t go under. Amazing design in my opinion unlike the Gaudy NY Trump tower (much less Vegas).

The Republicans who voted for conviction were:

    • Bill Cassidy of Louisiana
    • Susan Collins of Maine
    • Lisa Murkowski of Alaska
    • Mitt Romney of Utah
    • Ben Sasse of Nebraska
    • Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.
