What are the other 1.4 billion people in India doing?
Trying to get clean drinking water..and not catch the Coronavirus..
it’s all about his ego...
“When American presidents travel abroad, foreign officials have, for many years, made every effort to impress the Leader of the Free World. In many instances, this led foreign governments to try to arrange substantive policy breakthroughs important to the U.S. chief executive. In other cases, officials have arranged carefully planned visits to sites of cultural and historical significance. Some presidents like to deliver remarks to local students or conduct interviews with foreign journalists.
But with Donald Trump, those usual efforts won't work -- in large part because the Republican doesn't have much of an interest in policy, culture, or history.
It's worth pausing to appreciate how truly pitiful this makes Trump sound. There appears to be an international understanding that the current American president cares about spectacle and celebrations of himself, and so foreign officials have learned to appeal to his narcissism.
World leaders have learned to shorten or scrap the historical tours, remove local delicacies from the menu and focus on one thing only: feeding his ego."
How India tried to make Trump happy (and what this says about him)
So supporters of Narendra Modi an anti-Muslim Hindu nationalist also love Trump. Why I am I not surprised?
They can keep his ass!
Yeah, he looks hated to me...
Trump and Modi really do have a lot in common.
India Plans Big Detention Camps for Migrants. Muslims Are Afraid.
Here some excited Britons line Trump's motorcade route to welcome him to their country.
British crowd even larger than his inaugural crowd.
And the French agree as do the Australians, the kiwis, the Japanese, etc
Yes, India arranged a large crowd to cheer for him because that is what is most important to him, not trade deals or human rights legislation or military alliances...nope, just tell him how he is the best and that is all you need to do.
My one photo had many more people than your three.
Obama Cages: "Good"
Trump Cages: "Bad"
We only see one part of the stadium, and who knows who all those people are? Do you think Americans are the only ones who know how to massage attendance numbers with extras?
Especially those employed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and even more so if the person killed is a critic of the government.
Hopefully Trump is successful in boxing out Russia as India's prime military supplier. They agreed to buy $3 billion of military helicopters.
Gotta love a heavily edited video. The individuals confined under Obama were unaccompanied minors, almost all of whom were teens and they were confined for a very short period of time pending reunification with family members in the US or placement in group facilities. Under Trump families were separated and much younger children were placed in cages for longer periods of time.
Family Separation under Obama: "Good"
Family Separation under Trump: "Bad"
You tell me exactly how long is too long...
Either both were wrong or both were right...
Trump is actually popular in India for some strange reason. But to the point of the OP, it is a rarity globally.
Confidence in Trump remains low internationally
Why don’t you start a family separation thread? This thread is about the great love for Trump shown by Indian nationalists.
