I remember when Trump was first running back in 2015, and I said the first thing I would do is replace every single Obama census worker... and the Liberals here went apoplectic about that. Now we know why, but I already knew even back then what was happening.

I also said that House members should only be added to states based on American citizens in your state and NOT people there illegally or otherwise. If these millions of illegals are deported the "sanctuary" states will lose untold House seats and the Dems know that fact.

And thanks to DOGE we also found out that these illegal are in fact voting in blue states... maybe even in red states that have weak voting systems. No wonder these Liberal are rioting about ICE agents taking their ILLEGAL voters away.... deporting them.

    Happy Independence Day. :)

I agree that non-citizens should be excluded from population statistics used for allocating House of Rep seats to the states.

Should Noncitizens be exempt from income taxation? Even illegals have to pay taxes. Non-citizens with green cards have to register for the draft, should they be exempt.

There are communities of people with work visas. This impacts our infrastructure and schools.

How do you feel about Trump saying that he wouldn't be deporting illegal farm and hospitality workers?

    Will you understand, @g8torbill?

To be fair, he did say that he was going to work very strong and smart. (Because he doesn't understand what every 4th grader does - what an adverb is. :))

President Donald Trump has said his administration is working on legislation to allow undocumented migrants in industries such as agriculture and hospitality to remain in the United States.

"We're working on legislation right now where – farmers, look, they know better. They work with them for years. You had cases where…people have worked for a farm, on a farm for 14, 15 years and they get thrown out pretty viciously and we can't do it. We gotta work with the farmers, and people that have hotels and leisure properties too," he said at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines on Thursday.

"We're gonna work with them and we're gonna work very strong and smart, and we're gonna put you in charge. We're gonna make you responsible and I think that that's going to make a lot of people happy. Now, serious radical right people, who I also happen to like a lot, they may not be quite as happy but they'll understand. Won't they? Do you think so?"

Donald Trump could let millions of illegal immigrants stay in US

At this point it's primarily symbolic since the probability that the US will ever return to conscription is rather small. On the hand the possibility of conscription albeit how remote is also the possibility that one may have to put one's life on the line for his (and maybe in the future her) country.

You probably didn't know this but illegals are counted in all states for the census. Did your Blaze article not tell you that? I'd check myself but I don't click on on Blaze links.

Trump still polls positively when responded are asked the general question of whether they support the deportation of persons in the country illegally. When asked specific questions about deporting undocumented immigrants with citizen spouses or children or who are otherwise law-abiding, employed and have been in the US for a significant period of time he is in the hole.
Polls show support for Trump’s deportations is declining
The same poll reveals widespread opposition to deporting migrants married to U.S. citizens (66 percent) and those brought here as children (61 percent).

A majority (54 percent) of Americans also opposes deporting migrants with young children born in the U.S., even if the parents are in the country illegally.

Similarly, 57 percent believe the administration is making mistakes in who it is deporting, while 74 percent say the government should make sure no mistakes are made in who is deported, even if it drags out the process.
There just aren't that many illegal aliens who have committed serious crimes and support of Trump's policies will continue to decline as ICE continues to detain and deport or commence the deportations of otherwise sympathetic undocumented immigrants such as the landscaper in Los Angeles from Mexico who has been in the US for well over 20 years and is father of three US Marines, the waitress from Hong Kong who is the mother of US citizen children and has been in the US also for over 20 years or the Iranian woman who fled the Islamic regime in Iran, has been married to a US citizen for 35 years and is the mother of a US citizen daughter.
U.S. Marine veteran says father's violent arrest by immigration agents was 'inhumane'

Mom of 3, Who Fled to US to Escape Abuse, Faces Deportation After 20 Years

After 47 years in the US, Ice took this Iranian mother from her yard. Her family just wants her home

Incredibly stupid thread since the stated purpose of the US census is to call all living people in the US. The Constitution states that the representatives will be apportioned from the Census. The USSC has ruled that the numbers in the Census are to be used. Undocumented people are not allow to vote in a Federal election.

They know that just saying the word California is rage bait for MAGA. Despite the fact that California probably has more Republicans than any other state

It's interesting that, even though you have previously been educated about the difference between illegal immigrants and undocumented immigrants, you continue to hope and pray that the U.S. get rid of them all, even those who have been here with the approval of the government for years and years. You also, apparently, could care less that the current administration's immigration policy, if successful, would destroy our economy. Of course that would be a win over the libs. Yahoo!!!
