I thought this was widely known already. Trump was flanked by signs saying 'Save America March', named after the PAC that his campaign has been using since the election.
^^^Exactly. Trump himself was pimping the rally for weeks, and “Stop the Steal” is a Steve Bannon online creation. I guess some are trying to hide their complicity after the fact, but the march itself was basically a Trump campaign event.
This was a completely different animal when compared to all other Trump rallies. This had insider written all over it. Nearly all rallies have either been peaceful or they at a minimum respected the police and property, they just got violent with Antifa and Antifa were the ones against the cops and burning down the city and taking over buildings. This was a planned attack from the inside. Pretty crazy if it really came down to Trump giving the go ahead. If there's solid evidence pointing directly at him, he belongs in jail.
The only thing different from other rallies was the desperation to hold on to power. Clearly at least some of the people inside had “plans”, whether they were coordinating some of the more detailed aspects of the raid with the campaign is sort of irrelevant (although if proven it would amp up the ridiculousness of it all even more). The event itself was 100% planned by Trumps people. They were setting the stage for weeks, with Steve Bannon fomenting then “Stop the Steal” nonsense pretty much from Election Day onward. Trump himself spoke at the rally, and he literally instructed his supporters to walk up to congress (while telling them to “get tough”, “don’t let your country be taken away from you”, as well as other incendiary language from him and his supporters). There’s really no escaping that culpability when it was there out in the open for everyone to see. (this is far worse than “Russia are you listening”).
