I thought MAGA was all about being the "tough guy". What's up with all the whining (and avoidance of addressing actual topics)? You guys going soft on us?

 

They want to destroy them. Oct 7th was meant to be a complex attack with Hezbollah coming down from the North and Hamas coming in from the East. They have consistently spent tons and tons of blood, money, and effort into trying to destroy Israel.

 

I think we're just talking past each other. I'm not trying to minimize the fact they are effectively at war with Israel or that they and their proxies engage in this crap. But Destroy? IDK. Was that even possible? Maybe that's the end goal over time, but IMO the real motivator is staying in power and if buddying up to Israel accomplished that, they'd do that. I very skeptical that people like this aspire to some higher cause and tend to believe the motivations are based in power not religious piety.

I mean, dog-walking bans? Is that a sign of strength or weakness? That's the kind of draconian shit you do when you feel like the power is slipping away. Again, and everything else aside, there was no better time to do this and I don't think we'll be hearing much from Iran for a while. Maybe some talk, but they are on the back foot big time.

The problem with the ceasefire is that now that same regime that Trump didn't want to bomb are now rounding up all the people that they hate, and they're killing them. The so-called good Iranians are now paying the price for not letting the Israelis finish the bombing of these militant Islamists in that regime. There are some people that will never change and they should have been dealt with.

 

Any evidence of this? What prevented them from doing that the last 40+ years?
