Vosean Joseph is who you are thinking of. I've never seen a guy look so bad, so often.
Esp vs UGA and USCe. The poster child of "you are getting burned on the college level, why are you going pro?"

    Should have stayed in school.

Nah it was the guy I bolded. Who is currently hurt.

Joseph was great run stopping not a cover LB at all. Wish he would have stayed another year actually.

He's still getting picked on this year. More than once a receiver catches the ball and Dean is 2 steps behind playing catch up.

Ohh there's no doubt....its amazing to think how he's squeezed the W's he has out of this roster.

May have more to do with star position and knowing his duties. Cb is much more straight forward.

I'm excitied to see what Mullen's gonna do when he fills his rosters with the players he's looking for.

I tell you, life would be so wonderful if our players didn’t get hurt, transfer out, or leave early for the NFL.

    That's rather misleading, isn't it?

We dismissed Huggins for what has played out to be multiple rape accusations and/or violence against women. While I believe in giving people second and third chances, on the other hand, I think CDM did the right thing here.

Not only did Steele not want to compete, but also he wasn't interesting in learning how to play the CB position at the next level. To be sure, he has a very high ceiling. However, that doesn't count for much if he isn't willing to grow into it.

Dean has looked slow to me all year.

That first 3rd down conversion of the UGA game still makes me SMH.
All Dean had to do was take a good angle but he looked lost. Instead they got a (questionable) favorable spot, and the UGA went on from there.

I was so excited about him last year. Hopefully he gets it back together at his old position.

Unfortunately at CB Dean is a walking PI magnet.

I'm not debating whether these guys should have stayed, I'm just saying the talent was here now it's gone.....and there's a hole in the depth chart because of it. No one is making a case for them staying....at least I'm not. Hopefully, the staff will do a better job assessing character as well as talent and we'll have less of these problems in the future.

Met Trey's parents out in town after the last game. Great people. I told them we love him and thanked them for having their son here.

He has a lot of talent and I'm confident that the coaching staff will find the perfect spot and situations to keep him on the field. Glad he's a Gator.

Yes, they seemed to appreciate it. It reminded me that we are talking about people's kids here and it helped put all this in perspective.

    1) They recruited Trey Dean. 2) Don’t know how involved is CDM in D position section. 3) They should have the roster in place by close of 2021 season? That is a long time from now. By the time we sign the 2020 class staff should have brought 65 or more in. That’s most of a roster.

Than who is? You show me a school who you think is DBU and I'll show you a year where that school was retooling their secondary and were down a little from the year or 2 prior.

With all those guys being underclassmen. While we've seen exceptional athletes come right off the high school field and start playing like men, on avg most take a little time to develop and often spend a little time behind seasoned guys. Upperclassmen are Mostly seen with the linemen on both sides as it's not very often you have a line dominated by underclassmen and is dominating on the field. Too

Alabamas defense this year is their Achilles heel. They played a week schedule so far as the only 2 teams they've played this year was miss. St #19 who they beat by 7 pts and LSU who scored more points on them (46) then they did our defense. (42) vs. Bama Burrow was 31-39 393 yds 3 TDs
Vs. UF Burrow was 21-24 293 3 TDs

If our secondary is bad than bamas is too as they gave up nearly 400 Yds at Home in Tuscaloosa.

Lsu, playing great this year.... but it's not bc of defense like it normally is. Its bc if their offense. Its kept them undefeated all year as LSU has given up 38 pts to texas, 38 pts to Vanderbilt, 28 pts to UF and 41 pts to bama.
In 3 of those 4 games lsu secondary gave up:
418 yds 4 tds 1 int to bama
401 yds 4 tds 0 Int to texas
310 yds 3 tds 1 int to UF

    1129 yds 11 TD's 2 INT's over 3 games

In comparison UF secondary has yet to give up a 300 yard game yet. We even held the mighty Joe Burrow below 300 , LSU nor BAMA can say they've held everyone below 300 yes. So again if we suck what do they?
