Napier honestly needs to go full in on Bond if he fully enters. Any OL improvement and add him to go with our young WR/TE core UF could be off to the races.
I'm pretty sure that the condition of their line means they value him more potentially with NIL than we did. Apparently he was down on the low end of pay for our OL despite his experience.
our admin has to a serious look at why we can’t attract good players from the portal. I know people wil respond it’s the $$$s etc. but that’s too simplistic. We need a strategy to being competitive.
Leaving aside the fact that we've already attracted a number of good players from the portal, the strategy would be for you to provide more cash so we can buy the guys you want.
Sark recruited him while the OC at Bama. Several from Bama staff now at Texas. Looking to play for championships. Familiarity with staff. I think Bond was actually committed to us while in HS before switching to Bama.
