What’s funny about Nebraska “cleaning up” in transfer portal ? In recent days they’ve snagged 6-4 WR’s from Texas and Wake Forest and a 6-2 RB with track speed from Oregon. Add strong rumors that Dana Holgorsen is being added to the coaching staff. Almost forgot, they just scooped up our second-best OL.
Pretty sure the funny part is that they are viewed as having the 57th ranked portal class, whereas UF is at 32.
Of course it is. Nebraska wasn’t even the radar screen last year. Substantial turnaround and filling their needs at every position.
They have 5 transfer commits, the highest ranked being 113. The Oregon RB who logged a whole 13 carries last season. The next highest ranked transfer is a receiver from Wake outside the top 150 portal players. If that's "cleaning up" to you, oh well.

another highly rated player who barely played at one school. Had one start in 3 seasons (against USF when they rested some starters) and appeared in 4 other games last year (and 6 late game appearances the year before). He was behind George last year who transferred to UF so wouldn’t expect much from this dude. These are the kind of transfers I prefer to stay away from. last two years, FSU brought in some proven highly productive players from the portal (I.e. Verse, Coleman, Fiske). This year they are bringing in players that were highly rated in high school with almost no production- big difference. Most couldn’t get on the field at their prior school. Could turn out to be good players given a chance but so far none of them are plug and play like Verse and company (I guess the QB is plug and play- he just ain’t that good).
