Yeah, DT Darrell Jackson was a really good pick up for them as well. He's the Maryland DT Ruiz came in at the last second and swiped from us. It turns out he produced this year, and was worth whatever Ruiz paid him. I've read in some places that some NFL scouts really like his tape from this year. He is transferring to FSU because his mom is sick, and he is moving closer to home to be near her. Nothing Napier could do about that one.
im no scout and sometimes hard to tell with interior guys but he didn’t dominate. Had 27 total tackles, 11 of which were solo stops. Had 4.5 tackles for loss which included 3 sacks. Decent numbers for an interior linemen. He tied for 7th for most tackles for loss on what I think was a below average defense.
He’s a space eater and those numbers are decent. I can tell you this, we have him on our team and we are definitely different in a good way. Dexter and Des played way too many snaps and were basically a shell of themselves late in games due to exhaustion.
Yup, quick fix and it’s working. 3 best defenders, best Wr, best rb and qb all portal. Now add in Bell and D. Jack and you’ve added two immediate starters. High A in portal which could lead to a 9-10 win season next year.
