If we keep getting these types of OL, and DL, our others players just got better. Nothing better for a LB or DB than strong DL. RBs and WR also need a Good OLine to show out.

I mean, I get where youre coming from, but honestly, we were burnt when we brought Nussmeier back as OC in that third year under Mac.

Lol yea that's why i said im just being devils advocate. Mac was gonna be a sometimes 10 win coach here but more often than not, had us at 8-9 win program. Glad he's gone

Y’all are missing the mark. If you hear Mullen talk, he’s promoting UF as Top 10 in football and academics. We all know darn well that many of these prospects don’t give two shits about academics. That tells me he’s targeting a different type of player...one that can excel both on and off the field. I’m sure his academics talks scare off some talent.

Nah man, we're just whiffing on the big guns more often than not. That's OK though, it's still early in his tenure here and it won't always be that way.

I've heard Sully on the baseball side saying they make a concerted effort to target good kids from supportive families. Pays off in the long run.

He needs to get kids that qualify for academic scholarships and have enough money that 100k won't get them to go pro. Not as many scholarships to go around. Way different circumstances.

And I’ll bet that if you put 22 intelligent kids on the field it probably helps

At this point it is possible that we whiffed on a wide receiver and a running back and that is not even true yet. We didn’t wiff on this class at all. We won the battles and signed several studs this year

I cannot expect any better from our staff given our limited facilities. Hope we pick up a RB and LB between now and NSD though.
