Baseball-former NC State freshman.

 

27 homers as a freshman.

 

Given this is the baseball board, you can probably narrow it down pretty quickly I would think

So wonder what the real reason leaving NCST is? I heard to be closer to home, but if LSU really in mix, obviously not.

Not many, if any, HCs Id choose over Avent personally. But hes pretty old school, might rub some of todays kids the wrong way.

 

Makes sense.. but I don't read the board that way. I follow people and then look at their posts.

0 triples on the year, but that is negated by the fact that he smashed 3 HR against Miami (2 against Palmquist...he IBB the 3rd plate appearance).

Rumors are he wants to play 3B full-time.

By the way I do hope we land that transfer... He's good.

 

NCST starting 3B was a Fr. this year. But hit .256(7 HR) & fielded .878. Next to last & last respectively among everyday players.

Not sure what was stopping him this year or in future of being Pack 3B..lol

 

Idk, just reporting info that was on the NC State message boards. He apparently played DH a lot this season.

 

Position Splits (starts = 55):

1B: 13
3B: 8
DH: 34

He played 3B in one game in the Boston College series, and he had 3 errors.

Sounds like if he comes to UF he could be our new DH once Cags starts pitching and playing 1B next year.

 

Translation....thinks he is a 3B but isn't. I'm sure someone will tell him he is though.
