Agree, he wants his decision respected. Oblige, no more communication with him, no more camps, no more recruitment.
He apparently doesn't respect his own decision-making ability, why should anyone else? This guy is chopped liver, we can do better.
Is there just one person that writes all these “decommitment tweets”? They all sound so similar and are lame. They certainly don’t seem to be written by the player.
His loss..like I said..he is welcome to ratty facilities and low fan attendance and no stadium of their own, my thinking is he should have waited before committing, to me he looks a bit foolish and I agree, UF should not talk to him, find someone else to take his spot...I guess I have watched and followed Gator sports, especially football for a long long time and I certainly have gotten to the point that these 18 year old kids decisions don't bother any more like they do some..we can't change things, so why get all upset about something out of our control...the only we can do is either support our team or change who we support..I choose to support our team..believe me..there is a lot behind the scenes some haven't clue about Go Gators! 2 months till I get to sit in the Swamp and cheer our Gators on to victory!
Crazy how many recruits are flocking down there to play in front of 30,000 people....and 30,000 is a stretch. Unbelievable...
First, might as well untag the thread as he’s no longer a commit. second, I like to bag on crappy UM attendance…it is true and it is fun to do. And easy. Lol. But..in an era of NIL gone wild…the kids don’t care about attendance/ fans in the Stands. It is all about money. If they are getting paid…just like their NFL counter parts…fans in the seats is of no consequence. Do I want the $50,000/year for 4 years while I play football in front of less crowds in a lesser conference in fewer big games…or do I want the promise of NIL down the road and playing in a sold out stadium in some cool stadiums in big games. the players all believe each coaching staff can develop them so that is a moot argument to make. fans in seats is so far down the list of things that are important to them when getting paid good money to not play in front of many fans that the joke seems on us to even bring it up these days. It’s like “hey, have fun playing in sparse stadium with poor fan support” doesn’t register as they think “sweet ride I’m getting and I love my tens of thousands of dollars” is all they hear.
