GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida men's tennis head coach Bryan Shelton has announced the signing of one of the top junior players in the world, Togan Tokac. "Togan is a dedicated young man who has a desire to get better both on and off the court," Shelton said. "Togan has a magnetic personality which matches his dynamic game. He is an excellent student and I have high expectations for him both in the classroom and the court." A native of Istanbul, Turkey, Tokac has put together a solid junior career. Ranked as high as No. 59 in the ITF junior rankings, the Gator has won six ITF doubles titles and an ITF singles title. Four of his doubles titles came in 2021 and 2022 and his most recent doubles victory was at J1 Villena in Spain.
