Our defense was phenomenal in the 2nd half, held them to 50! We out rebounded them. We fought for loose balls and rebounds. Bassett played huge off the bench. Hayes played incredible D on Gafford. Allen had the eye of the Tiger. Johnson played relentlessly.

Great win because our offense was nothing above average. But it was clear the Gators just wanted it badly today.

Held the Hogs to 22 points in the second half! Great team effort.

I was at work, could only listen now and then to Mick and Mark. Mick was not happy with the first half effort.

This team seems to play its best with its back against the wall.

Now let's take the series with LSU tomorrow and we're golden. We may already be.

Nope, but he grew up in country. Jameis would've had us eating W's.

Arkansas played great defense in the first half ... so good they they were tired in the second half.. we wore them out.

A great win ... Now let's whip up on LSU!!

Looking at the distribution of minutes it appears that Hayes (32), Bassett (11) and Stokes (2), played 45 minutes combined suggesting that 2 bigs played together for about 5 minutes.

Johnson staying out of foul trouble and playing 32 minutes was probably the key to the game especially after Hudson (23 minutes) went out early with 2 fouls.

I am not a big fan of our small lineup with Hudson playing the "4" , which looked to be limited to about 3 minutes ( 77 minutes between the bigs+Johnson).

With LSU's multiple bigs, we need to keep Johnson out of foul trouble again and perhaps not play the small lineup at all.

The small lineup works well against LSU though. Really allows Hudson to be aggressive. No surprise he has like 4 or 5 layups and a dunk against them in the halfcourt. A lot of that is a result of their bigs being drawn away from the rim guarding smaller guards.

Seems pretty clear that White likes to tinker with lineups and minutes with our bench guys based on our opponent. Hudson, Bassett and Stokes all seem to be decently matchup based.

I agree. I hope Jalen is aggressive tomorrow. LSU really has nobody that can guard him. It's a good matchup for him. Need him to show up.

Usually back to back games take a toll on jump shooter legs.

I am also not convinced that Hudson and Allen can play well together,so if Nembhard plays his usual 37 minutes, then Hudson, Allen and Locke can stay fresh, each playing less than 30 unless one gets a hot hand, like Hudson did last week

I told the fans around me, KJ was the difference,
20/12, I think they missed on one early rebound he had. Whatever.
Seeing Livingston Chatman at halftime be saluted was great. One of my early Florida basketball heros! Fans understand all the freshmen playing and seem to be wondering with our class coming in, the Gatorscould be trouble in the SEC next year!
