Stitches after tearing his hand diving for a ball. My buddy saw him in the Jax airport. Said he was going to see his family. Hope he heals quickly and gets back at it. Great Gator and even greater witness.

Actually, I'm a little surprised he spent $2.9M on a 8K+ sq ft home. Different strokes and all, but is personally a bit much to me, even if you have the money.

Anyway, yeah best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Not sure but I heard it took earthmoving equipment to repair the divot where he landed.

Shame. He needs all the bats he can handle at this time. Missed too much time while playing football and Tim and body are getting older

Great kid, he could have been a pro-bowl tight end several times by now but you can't blame a guy for following a dream

I would have loved to see him in a Mike Alstott position.

Not if you are planning to have lots of kids (and maybe adopt some) along with several family events. It will also afford him the opportunity to have an in home gym and office. So 8,000 sf could be just right.

He probably needs the space to carry on with all of his projects while staying closer to home. I just hope he chose well and is settling down with a woman who will let him be him.

I would love to have seen Tim in a Gator baseball uniform for three years and starting off in the minors at 22 instead of 29. The NFL was a complete waste of his valuable time.

I disagree. Playing football got him a lot of publicity. He was not going to get that playing college baseball.

I meant doing both at UF. Maybe playing quarterback was too demanding to also play baseball. Spring football practice must be quite a crunch. Did Riley Cooper skip spring football or miss baseball games?

Gavin Dickey did both also—I think he finished at UF in 2006 before signing a milb contract.

The good news, this injury will have little to no lasting impact. He might be done with baseball for the year but I'm sure his fiance' will be glad to find everything works just fine in the near future.;)

The Gators should offer Tim Tebow a an office next to Steve Spurrier - make him a recruiting specialist and liaison officer for the UF football team. He would earn his money very quickly!
