But he did not however hump sharks .
This is a classic and should be enshrined as such!! However, there’s a chance this chant will be heard in 2021.
Tebow saved himself for marriage and then married Ms. Universe...now some are calling him "stiff"....well hello Captain Obvious.
For that matter how can we tell if he improved at a position he's yet to play?
The real question in all this is will Lawrence begin to "Tebow" after a TD? Will there be side by sides? If he throws a TD to someone other than Tim will he be all "It's not a 'Tebow'! it's a Lawrence damnit, and yes, I do have an Adam's Apple, what about it?"
Tebow looks like he put on 20lbs of muscle on just his arms. Geeze! Thighs are huge too.
Another chapter. Hope it works out.
Yep...so much for those out of shape critics...Im betting he would win the best physique contest for the Jags right now. Im betting he and Urban have some people they wish to prove wrong.
Tebow will be an workaholic Gronk type tight end that will have him getting open one on one for tds and first downs.
Vegas has over/under on TDs for Tebow at 2.5....bets are cancelled if he doesnt make the club. Think thats a great bet given how many ways he could be used in scoring situations.
I love reading the clowns who say Tim isnt physical enough fir the position. Obviously they need to go youtube Tim pulling it down and running. Idiots.
Their hate is his fuel.
As I've said before with Tebow, attitudes generally follow a gradient tied to the circus that surrounds him. Tebow's abilities as a football player is a tiny subset in the larger Venn diagram.
His physical abilities is within the 1% of 1% of all players. He lead the nation in passing efficiency his senior year. Lead. The. Nation. He was the top passer in the SEC. He broke touchdown records. He has clips of him brutalizing future All-Pros in the NFL while in college.
People who dislike him ignore this, not because they're stupid, but because the circus lights are too bright. Very few people can objectively look at his accomplishments anymore. After 10+ years, it's damn near impossible.
If he had made the move to TE in 2011, people would be applauding him. Now they're just angry to see the circus again. He's physically still in the top 1% and they desperately want everyone else to ignore that
They can place Tim on the practice squad, if they keep the 2020 rules that allows players with more NFL experience and games played on the squad. Expanded last year from 10 to 16 with 6 that can have unlimited NFL playing experience. Can keep on practice squad and continue to develop him.
Everything you need to know about how NFL practice squads will work in 2020
Well said!...people like to forget that the same guys he abused on the ground and yes...in the air...were the same ones he was playing against on Sundays. Granted he had a stellar cast but the guy was a very accurate college QB who went to teams uninterested in developing that skill for him in the NFL. Urban will try and involve him to prove the doubters wrong and I think they both will succeed.
Interesting that not post mentioned the question of his blocking ability. He can have the greatest hands on the team but if he can't block then that is a serious issue
Not worried about that one bit
Good blockers have two traits. Good techinque (obviously) and lack of fear of hard contact. (Which is very difficult to teach)
Im not worried one bit about Tim blocking because hes a willing learner (many arent) and he has no problem with contact.
Just show him a video of Delance last year and tell him to do the opposite at all times.
Well of course you're not worried...you're not the QB or running back who is relying on a new guy playing TE for the first time ever to properly block a menacing defensive end or blitzing linebacker ready to tear your head off lol
