And should have been called for at least two IG penalties!
Bingo. It's amazing how the national media seemed to totally forget just how badly he has played over the course of the season. In the 20s in completion % when under pressure tells you everything that you need to know.
If you put EJ or Trask or a one legged Franks on Auburn today... they probably win the game
Do not feel sorry one iota for him or his dad.[/QUOTE]
Care to explain?
Interview with Tebow
Even more clever. Lol
Hope he beats the crap out of the dawgs!
Well none. Danny was a redshirt Freshman, Timmy never started as a Freshman and Freshman weren’t allowed to play on the varsity when Spurrier was in school. Spurrier did lead the Baby Gator freshman squad to a 45-12 victory over Georgia’s freshman squad though.
He actually was not as good of a runner for the #1 duel threat coming out of HS. I remember the play where he was in the open field on 3rd down and should have had the first down if he ran upfield and lowered the boom but he skirted for the side lines and got tackled short of the first. That's not what I would call an elite running QB.
Chris Leak was a better freshman quarterback than bo... By light years...
Guarantano says hold my beer.
He played like a freshman today. Gator D was on a different level.
Better off at UCF where they can blow sunshine up his a$$ that he’s the best thing since sliced bread.
Good athlete, strong arm, not great size.
The biggest problem he had today is he got almost no help from his running game. Go on the road against a ferocious defense and a hostile crowd as a true freshman, you need some support from the rest of your offense. Nix didn’t get it today.
Good call on that, Peterman was the worst. Guy couldn't field the snap... it was incredible.
I looked up his stats for the game...
4-of-11 for five yards, two interceptions and two fumbles
That's going to be hard for anyone to top.
Gator D had his number. Looks like he'll be a tough running QB at some point.
Don't forget Kerwin Bell.
The best thing for a freshman - true or redshirt - is a running game and a damn fine defense. Auburn had a good defense, except their safeties looked slow, but their run game was AWOL. You want to place the offense on the shoulders of a freshman....when the Swamp is set to rock?
Nothing wrong with his game....except experience.
I would never forget Kerwin. I was merely responding to the quarterbacks mentioned in gatorcloud’s query.
I can already hear the narrative changing this week that Auburn was overrated. Anything to discredit a UF win.
