Three different Gators picked up SEC Gymnast of the Week honors in 2022 – Sloane Blakely (Week 1), Leanne Wong (Week 6) and Thomas (Week 8). Other Week 8 recipients are Lexi Graber, Alabama and Haleigh Bryant, LSU (Co-Specialists of the Week) and Sunisa Lee, Auburn (Freshman of the Week). Trinity Thomas - SEC Specialist of the Week: Won at least a share of every event title in the nation's top meet of the weekend (No. 2 Oklahoma/197.75 at No. 3 Florida/198.10). Second event sweep of career (also at LSU in 2021). No. 2 all-time for UF with 94 event wins (one away from Bridget Sloan's record). 39.85 all-around is nation's leader for 2022. Total is No. 2 all-time for UF (behind her 39.90 at LSU in 2021). Third all-around title of 2022 and now No. 4 on UF career chart with 21 all-around wins. 10.0 was sixth of career for floor exercise. Leads nation with five 10.0s this season (three floor, one vault & beam). Near perfect 9.975 won balance beam.
