Haven't thought about a personal mantra through song. My first thought . . .

You don't have to do either to enjoy life. Just don't give up!

As good as any, Scrappy. I like it. Will you share it?

The movie Eastwood made is titled "The Mule" - It's about a Korean War vet /horticulturist who grows and sells lilies, then loses his business. Needing funds to buy it back he succumbs to the lure of the money and becomes a drug mule. It was enjoyable. Trucker and I watched it a couple of weeks ago.

White Flower Farm calls this group of muted color lilies - appropriately for the thread - the "Extended Season Lily Mixture."

I've always liked this one sung by Mary Hopkin in 1968. It appeals to me for the off beat and the ethnic flavor of the melody. And the sentiment - always the sentiment.

Thanks I'm about to hit seven years, and I don't miss them. I still have plenty of fun, and there's no need to apologize the next day.
