After a loss this board is all ablaze with hell fire and brimstone. We dominate another SEC school to start 3-1 in the conference and nary a peep. Some of y'all are so predictable in your doom and gloom.

The expectations remain to be a top 10 team with this squad. Obviously I’m happy we won but it’s still an extremely disappointing season. We need to string together wins vs the lesser teams or pull a big upset to get people excited again

This weekend: beat Auburn - bet there is a lot of buzz and activity on the board.

    beat ole miss is expected.

need some big wins to get off the proverbial bubble!

We beat a bad Ole Miss team without their best player. WOW!
Let’s see what happens in the next couple games.

I would be pretty excited if we split these next 4 games, preferably with a big home win over either Auburn or Baylor but regardless I'll take a split. The schedule is much easier after this 4 game skid.

Ole Miss is AWFUL, and were missing their best player. The Mizzou team we gave up 91 to just scored 45 last night in a loss, that Mizzou loss is still inexcusable. That said, I enjoyed the win last night but in order for people to be more bullish on the rest of the season we must at least go 1-1 vs AU and Baylor...period....

And when it's cold outside, global warming is a hoax. Meanwhile, Australia.

As another poster said, beat Auburn and LSU or Baylor and then you will see some action on here. Otherwise, the jury is still out.

Jury is definitely still out. I was just commenting on how funny it is that there are usually 6-7 negative posts after a loss and there were literally no positive posts after a win.

I was actually thinking we were not as mediocre as we are. We loss to 2 teams in the top ten and two good teams. But when you add in all the hype we saw on this board like being in final four before the season. Now, plus the loss to a terrible Missouri team without their best player, and beating 3 teams at the bottom of the conference. What do you expect? Should we be excited about beating teams we should beat? Still we did have a big turn around. I think fans are just frustrated.

I had no idea what the parameters are for us fans to be “bullish” on this year’s team. Thanks for enlightening us.

I was disappointed at first, because of what I thought they would be. Now that I accepted who we are, I've adjusted expectations and hope to be an upstart as opposed to a favorite. Who knows... they might figure it out and be in prime form by the SEC tournament.
