They will but not to the degree that your high real estate value/high tax states do.

It gets to how bad the tax code is. And it is a bipartisan issue. As I suspect we each agree on...

State and Corporate COVID policy has consequences...consequences the federal government had to foot the bill for...and now its...waaaah Trump ran up the debt. If we wanted a perfect credit score, then maybe we should have thought about that before shaming anyone who didn't want to shut down the economy as having blood on their hands.

Talk to Trump. He had a full year of covid. It’s not like we had businesses open everywhere and then on Jan 21 we shut down. Biden opened America. You owe him a thank you.

I was in the movie theaters under Biden that first summer. Desantis said I couldn’t go to the beach. I was in the office under Biden but working from home under Trump. I’m just saying, I was there. Not sure where you were.

In his first year., Trump reversed the trend of deficits being reduced - a trend which was left to him by Obama. He then continued to escalate them every year ....... before covid even happened.

How can there be anyone left who needs these obvious facts explained to them? And is there even a point to doing so?

Reading up on the reasons. More about recent political instability along with the impact of debt. Noted failure of Republican lead house last year on passing timely debt extension nearly defaulting on debt(remember many MAGA voices were in favor of this), pushing out then Speaker, inability to reach agreement with Dems. Add in the instability of current administration, tariffs on a whim, lack of clarity on economic policy…plus a dumb tax bill that increases debt…
Yeah, you got what you voted for

Talk about rewriting what happened with pure ignorance. Trump was looking to reopen Easter of 2020 but followed the idiot fauci's advice. He deserves criticism but he was at least realizing how stupid it was to shut down like we were. You have to be honest about how powerful the propaganda was from the few idiots (I would argue criminals in many circumstances as these people had the education to know they were pushing BS).

Biden was trying to force young healthy people take a shot they did not need to work. Ironically a shot Trump got to market.

“We’re” not paying for anything. Those blue states send far more tax dollars to the Federal government than they receive back.

We should work on reducing the overall spending/debt by our government. Let's just stick to making policies conducive to creating jobs. And we should work on reducing taxes that everyone pays equally irrespective of their State And Local Taxes.

You are still free to itemize... I just don't think that state taxes should be a consideration in this bill.

So you’re in favor of not limiting itemized deductions but just don’t want state and local taxes to be deductible? What about interest on home loans and real estate taxes?

I believe I made myself clear... SALT deductions should not be a consideration in this FEDERAL spending/tax reduction bill.

Now, you say you want deductions of home loans and real estate taxes... that needs to be in it's own separate bill... along with car loan interest deductions.

You seem to be a knowledgeable poster. My question to you is, right now, is this now trumps economy or Biden’s? For good or bad, when is it officially his?
