Crazy for that to be the case before the first kickoff of the season...
If Rivals stays as much in love with Sapp as they are now, he will likely be a 5 star too.
Do we need all those DBs. That’s a lot. I guess 7 was really the magic number for this class. We need top tier lvl OL and DL commitments.
6 db's and yes because graduation/attrition is about to hit us hard.
Remember Kamar is 2020 now.....
THIS. Not only do we need that many, we need at least a few of them to step up be studs early on. In this pass happy day and age you need all the DB’s you can get.
Xavier Sorey? Has that boat sailed?
I’d have to take a much closer look to see where and I doubt dline is often an option to drop but there will be room made if he or Taylor want in.
Nope. We still have a good shot at him but it wont be easy
If we get serious with a handful of these guys and don’t have the room do you think we will go ala Saban and see some “processed?”
I'm struggling to see who we can even "process". I really like all the commits we have on defense. None of them seem to be huge reaches. The OL is where we have guys I wouldn't be mad about swapping for some better players, but we kind of need o-linemen and I don't see us on the radar for any better replacements.
I'm still confused why we gave a long snapper a scholarship.
If you figure that 27(ish) is basically the target number for this class, it's probably going to be a slow few months in recruiting until the early signing day. Not a lot of spots left.
It was said on here that he’s on scholarship if one is available. Hope that’s true because it’s looking like there won’t be available
1-2 (Strickland, Hammond, Gardner) of the OL might find themselves on the outside looking in, Sapp and Thomas' commitments have always been considered "soft" so them decommitting wouldn't be a shock and Borders might take that Stanford offer.
I was a little bit wondering that too. Until I did research on Underwood. He will all prolong snapper someday. He is the best long snapper to come out of high school in a really long time. I do know they are hoping he qualifies for full-ride academics but if not you find a way to get him on the team. He is that good and a very good athlete on top of snapping.
Borders damn sure doesn't seem to be budging
The Chief is right. And the whole Stanford education is overblown when you are comparing them to institutions like UF. It’s not like we are some university outside of the top 100. If it was Alabama or auburn vs. Stanford academics I could see the night and day reaction.
You also have to grad transfer to another school, if you want to get a MS. They don’t let you stay there for a MS
Final piece for a loaded secondary? Room enough for an enforcer like Arnold at safety.
