You have to notice and I find it interesting how many libbies seem to enjoy a homosexual show. It seems as though most of the resident libbies have seen this show and also seem to like it. I don’t have a problem with it, but I do find it interesting and it says something about the difference in our personalities.
OK, I find it interesting that you'd say stuff like this while also admitting to liking Olivia Newton John's music. Life is a rich tapestry.
Obviously you can't point to where he said that. Is this really how you want to act? Are you proud of it? Would you stand up in church or at work and explain "See, one poster pointed out how conservatives were upset by the gay affair in a TV show and quoted an article about. So I said 'So are admitting that you and other leftist get excited about homosexuality.' 'Isn't that cool how I can anonymously accuse other people of that?!?" You're proud of that? Would you want your kids to act like that?
Yep, that was probably my favorite part of that episode. Not to mention the opening talk show about fungus mutations. I was thinking about the virus debate on here, lol.
YES. River, it's obvious you have absolutely have no since of humor, you know I'm just having fun, if you don't that's on you. You know if I would have made a comment like this our locals libs would be on me like stink on shit. Yes I completely love having a great since of humor. You and others asked for this, you served it to me on platter. Thank you, what a fun way to start my weekend.
No I don't get excited about homosexuality. But I'm not a homophobe either. It was a good episode. You should watch it. It might do you some good.
BTW, I was just reading that there is a longer cut of this episode. I'm interested if it ever sees the light of day (although it was brought up by the creator, so he might be trying to get it put out at some point).
Meh. I think the show is ok. I think the adult actors are good. Mando and the woman from Fringe were great but Ellie I’m giving a C- so far. I think ep 3 was too early in the show for a side story almost entirely unrelated to the main. Whatever, I always give zombie shows a few episodes. - Walking dead - Z nation - izombie - Black Summer - Santa Clara Diet - The Lake
Even with main characters, I think background stories are better after you’ve become invested in the character. I thought the Walking Dead had the right idea with Tales of the Walking Dead. It was similar to this because they were stories that were in the same world as the series but with characters outside of the show. Unfortunately, those stories just weren’t very good. This one was actually well written and acted but also felt like a waste of time when you’re expecting something to move a new series along.
I tend to agree overall. So far, it was okay but not great (not helped by people probably being a bit exhausted on Zombie shows after the success of Walking Dead and their 57 spinoffs). That episode was unexpectedly great. I liked Ellie's reading of the letter at the end a lot (heheheh).
