Must be nice being so optimistic. You go hang your hat on Mizzou. I'll let you know what the hotels in Orlando or Tampa are going for on New Year's Day.

What are the rankings on 3 and 8+s given up to this point in the season? We have to be last in all of college football.

Sad that after 2 weeks of practice we can’t even get plays called in/get 11 players on the field in the right spot.

Sad that we can’t get a play snapped with more than 10 seconds on the play clock, even when down 2 scores and time running out.

Complete mismanagement from the coaches on both sides of the ball and special teams

PS...Trask didn't see a lot of open (easier to throw to guys) too...his vision today, at least some of the time was iffy.

    Georgia's O line was beastly.

    Go Gators.

Not sure that’s true but if so good for them. I think scouts will look elsewhere for top DBs. Third round maybe. I just don’t see it.

Sheesh. I just said it was possible. Do you understand the word 'possible?'

I'm not counting on it or even think it will happen. But it's a mathematical possibility. Sorry if that upsets you for some reason.

Soft zone ONLY..EVER.. works if you CONSISTENTLY pressure the QB with 4 or 5.

Only one that looks like a 1st rounder to me is Henderson. Wilson has the coverage skills but that "tackle" that lead to a UGA TD is not going to be acceptable at the NFL level. I don't see him going any higher than the 3rd to me and that's if a coach thinks he can make him wrap him.

Hey Gatorgrowl, take off your O&B glasses. One of the worst calls of the game was the 4th and inches pass play in first quarter we muffed. 4th and inches and we throw to a covered receiver on the sidelines.

I think our safeties play is hurting our secondary the most. They are not covering well and blowing assignments. Cager's 2nd half TD it looks like Davis is lost. Stewart could have made a couple plays on the last possession but didn't. When Fromm made a mistake and underthrew that pass on their first possession Davis couldn't make the pick. Normally, UF's safeties are a strength...I miss the Reggie Nelson, Matt Elam, Major Wright, and Ahmad Blacks.

Third and long has been a problem all year against every team. Hoping to see some improvement so the offense doesnt have to score 40 to win. Still time for a good year.

Wish I saw it differently but I agree. Unless I grew up loving UF if LSU, Bama, or georgia wanted me guess what?

Yep... safeties have been a major issue all season long and are directly related to our 3rd down issues. And you didn't even mention Dean in your post... he gave up about 10 points all on his own.

If Franks is all that, then we should have blown out Miami this year and beat UGA last year. Mullen’s game plan last year was MUCH better than his game plan this year.

The issue with Trask is the same issue Mullen had with Leak in 2005. He is trying to make Trask into a spread option qb, when Trask is a pass first qb. Trask is a better passing qb than Franks without question. If Mullen isn’t willing to adjust the offense, then he should put EJ in and live with the warts.

I'm "pining" for EJ to be the starter in 2020. I think Franks is better than Trask.
