    61 years ago today is the Day the Music Died. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson died in a plane crash near Cedar Lake, Iowa.

    truiely one of the saddest days in the history of rock n roll, imo, buddy holley would have surpassed elvis, if only because he could sing, write, arrange music.

    Everybody has their day. I'm not going to look it up, but will guess this was Tom Petty. As for me, I'd go with a couple:
