Best post ever. Same with the "both sides" BS. Our executive branch is chartering new frontiers in corruption and criminality.

As soon as we wise up, well .... then we'll have wised up. Until then, we'll vote for a guy who tells us that they're eating the dogs. Murica.

Two things I hear on news every day

    (1) 2026 looking bad for Trump

    (2) Democrats in a death spiral

Whichever party can run a center-ish candidate in '28 is the going to win. I can see Vance going down to Shapiro or Newsome losing to Younkin. Most people just want sanity back at the top and that was no where on the ticket in '24.

Again, for the "Come on Man's", why Hegseth over Colby? You know why but you're either too afraid or too PC/Woke to say it. There is only ONE REASON a flunky like him is SOD. To say "yes" to anything and everything Trump asks.

That was the case in 2024. If Haley's on the R ticket (and MAGA doesn't puss out) we're talking Reagan 1984 numbers along with clear majorities in the House and Senate. But. . . we got the Drool Cup instead. Thanks MAGA, your "awesomeness" never ceases to amaze.

Democrats aren't winning shit until they learn how to get their message across better - even if the message is BS - across modern media like podcasts, youtube videos, memes, reels, etc. They are losing out bigtime in the misinformation war.
They just have to make their lies more palatable and exciting than republican lies. And at this point, they just aren't.

"They go low, we go lower." - George Washington.

I'd like to disagree with your take, but I cant. I think lazy voters cant be fixed so.. open the floodgates of misinformation.

It's interesting how the party that seems to always talk of violence is the left.

And yet, MAGA appoints Hegseth over Colby? Hmm.

Still no answer for that from MAGA, huh? Hardly a surprise.

    Just more "pithy" Tweet posts.

    NY Times:
One longtime Democratic researcher has a technique she leans on when nudging voters to share their deepest, darkest feelings about politics. She asks them to compare America’s two major parties to animals.

After around 250 focus groups of swing voters, a few patterns have emerged, said the researcher, Anat Shenker-Osorio. Republicans are seen as “apex predators,” like lions, tigers and sharks — beasts that take what they want when they want it. Democrats are typically tagged as tortoises, slugs or sloths: slow, plodding, passive.

    Lol

Imagine thinking the Democrats are any less self interested than Republicans. How cute.

The republicans are just doing a worse job of hiding it at the moment, but propping up weekend at Biden for the last couple years was pretty self serving for the dems.

The rest of your post has valid points irt Trump.

Gert back to me when the Democratic party is literally a rubber stamp for an active enabler of crime, including trying to overturn an election.

I suspect the actual explanation is something that, while perhaps not confidence inspiring, is far less scary and interesting.

Subordinates are better qualified because they’re the ones conservative think-tanks recommended. People like Hegseth get picked (similar to many of Trump’s second term appointees) because they are, in some loose definition of the term, famous, and Trump (wrongly) views fame as a proxy for qualifications.
