Although I'm sure it would be tough, I think for millions of dollars I could wrestle with staying clean. (Sorry that we don't have a sarcasm font yet.)

So what you are saying is that you have been a statistic, right?

It all starts in high school, Miami is a disaster. Kids are heavily recruited to transfer, promised grades, SAT scores,
and now apparently even getting paid. By the time they get to college they don't know how to do anything other than
to put two hands out and say 'gimme'

Problem is it took him how long to supposedly overcome his issues? So what's his message to AC? "Don't lose hope. I got in trouble 4 years in a row and I'm still playing"?

His mentoring is going to start with “I think I got it figured out this time, this is how you don’t get caught ...”

Update: This just in, and I have it on an inside source, so it’s a lock, do not second guess my reporting. Snoop Dogg, backed by his management team of Cheech and Chong are now personally mentoring Callaway....

I guess it’s just the difference between synicism and optimism. There’s definitely two ways it could go. All I’m saying is I don’t think it’s crazy to put someone with experience in beating addiction in a mentoring role over someone who needs help in that area. I’m sure many people leading AA meetings were once addicted themselves. But you’re certainly right in thinking it could backfire.
