    So says Jay Bilas:

    23. Florida Gators
When, or if, the Gators get healthy up front, this is a terrific team. It does not have the defensive grit of last season's bunch, but this is a fun team to watch. Chris Chiozza's steal to win the game at Missouri was an example of what a terrific college player Chiozza is. He was alert off the ball, read the play and shot the gap for the steal and the win. Only a handful of players would make that play. Florida averages 83 points per game, third in the SEC to Arkansas and Auburn, and hits almost 10 3s per game.

Interesting that he puts Cincinnati at #10. If things continue this way, that win will help seeding by a considerable amount. Hopefully FSU remains strong to help make that loss look less bad.

I’m rooting for FSU to tank, regardless of what it means to our seeding.

It's good to see them get a reality check in league play. They blew a big halftime lead at home in losing to Louisville last night, dropping them to 1-3. Personally, I'd like to see them lose every game on their schedule every year. I could care less about RPI or KenPom implications for us. I said the night they beat us we will be the reason they get into the Tues/Wed play-in games (61-68). I might have undersold them just slightly, but I'm confident Hamilton's coaching will have them trending in the wrong direction come March.

    Irvine, Fl
Now you are talking my language, we are improving game by game so that by season's end the school out west's rating won't mean that much to our seed

  9. That Seminoles team is legit; chemistry or insecurity or quirks may make them lose more than they should but that's a talented basketball team.

On Jay Bilas: me thinks he's a day late and a dollar short on this basketball team of ours. This is a terrific team right now.
