And you have to make the defense respect it even when it doesn’t work. And also maybe one will pop eventually a la Perine’s run. You can’t just not do it at all if it’s in your offense. Every play has the physical but there is a mental component always as well. Keep the defense thinking.

I literally had to cover my ears in 1991. 91 was the absolute loudest I have ever heard that stadium, though I was not there for the Cock Block so I can’t compare . Yesterday was terrific. Not as loud as 91 but really jumping. The fans were plenty loud, the players were jumping to the music...if you are a recruit you loved it. It was really rockin.

I'm not sure Trask has had any fumbles running the ball. All--or atleast most-- of his fumbles come on passing plays. I don't think we should we abandon the pass though either.

We ran the option as recently as yesterday... and it would have gone for a TD had Trask pitched it. Even though the play didn't work, the fact that the AU defense converged on Trask instead of the pitch man (Davis) is exactly why we need to keep the QB running game in tact.

Nobody is asking him to be Tebow, or Franks... but asking him to run the ball 3 or 4 times a game is hardly a big deal that should be abandoned outright.

That seems to be the reason why our run game opens up a bit when EJ plays..
Nothing at all against Trask, except that he has got to know when to tuck the ball......

But, It was comforting to see that we actually DO have another very competent QB in Emory... He's surprised a lot of people with his arm, as well.

Where did they bury the Addazio playbook? I'd like to pay my respects to the dive play.

Were you there for the 97 F$U game when “GREEN IS BEHIND THE DEFENSE!!” And the Dwayne Thomas pick to seal it?

Edited to add: that footage still gives me chills.

That study on Perine's run broke down how our O-Line performed exactly how they were supposed to...
They're getting better...remember what kind of defense they were up against...
Auburn had those two "moving mountains" lined up over center all day.

Someone should post this to UGAy's twitter page and remind them that we don't need lights and gimmicks. This is what a real stadium looks and sounds like.

You sure that’s right? Was Auburn’s muffed punt return not a fumble?

Yes, but how many times had we run that same running play to Perine this year for nothing before he broke it for 88 to the house?

The official box score shows 4 turnovers for both sides...

After the TD we had 3 fumbles on our next 4 possessions. (Trask, Pierce, Trask.)
The 4th fumble happened in the 4th quarter also by Trask.

Auburn had the punt return fumble, and 3 picks...
Sean Davis which happened after the Trask fumble.
Late 3rd quarter which took away a huge RZ opportunity to score. (Steiner.)
Late game as they tried desperately to score. Marco Wilson w/ 2.30 left in the game.

We also turned it over on downs w/ the fake punt, but that's technically not a TO.
So the turnovers were actually even.

So I sat in section 27 row 79 for this game and this game was a blast to be at. The crowd noice didn’t seem that loud up where I was though? To be fair I was up near the lord himself but I went to the LSU game last year and sat in the north end zone and that game was the loudest I have ever experienced in a game. Just curious if that was matched and or if it was louder?

side note keep looking for a tv replay and I can’t find one.
