Looks like b. Laundrie was gator bait
I don't think this guy is a criminal mastermind, though. He basically had a blank canvas to paint his own version of what happened, they were off the grid, out of cell range, no time table where she was expected to check in, he could have hid the body anywhere from Florida to Washington State ... instead, the body is easily found and his plan was to drive home without her and act guilty as hell.
Agree. Said the same thing back on September 23rd.
I guess he offed himself. Never understood why these girls get involved and stay involved with scumbags. She was a good looking girl who I’m sure had plenty of choices.
Looks like his backpack and notebook were just discovered.

Doesn't seem any mastermind at all to me either but of a story we are all too familiar with regarding men who kill their intimate partners. It's often of a violent male temperament that goes too far. On the flip side, what we often find when it's women who kill their partners, that it is more of a planned thing. Think poisoning or other passive means or occurring after a long history of being abused.
Reminds me of the time Mrs51 made spaghetti and right there on the counter top next to the parmesan cheese was an open box of rat poisoning.
A passive warning to you to straighten up your act.
The Sicilian recipe. Spaghetti ala morte
I sure hope so. It would save taxpayers a ton of money.

Where is the firearm?
She appeared to not be the most stable person herself, still didn't deserve to be killed
