Hope he makes it through ok. That’s gotta be a painful.

Just an observation- whenever something like this (or anything remotely scandalous/negative) happens to a former Gator, the fact that it’s a former Gator is plastered in the headlines and throughout the article. Zero mention of “former tO$U QB” or “embroiled in tattoo scandal at tO$U”, etc.

    I find that interesting.

If he made it through the night with a chest wound he should survive. The X factor will be where the shoulder wound is and how/if he is able to recover from that to get back to playing.
Also, fwiw, the link to the story on foxnews says “ex osu standou”.

I had the same thought. I also suspect we’re going to learn that this attack was not 100% unprovoked while TP was merely sipping eggnog and filling out a check for the Salvation Army.

Well that’s horrible, best wishes for a full recovery. Young man is an amazing athlete but has a history of being in difficult positions, of his own makeing, I don’t know. A knife in the chest is a tough deal.

We'll never know the whole story. Maybe he hit her. Maybe she's just batshit crazy.

Or both. Probably only the two of them know for sure. Unfortunate all around. When crazy hooks up with crazy crazy things are bound to happen.

“Too soon” is for jokes. I’m not joking.

Some people gotta judge before even thinking about the well being of the individual involved. Concerning to say the least.

There is a difference between speculation and judgement. The words "maybe" and "probably" aren't judgement.

Hopefully the young man gets better. I meant no disrespect, and certainly was not saying I know what was behind the circumstances of this unfortunate event.

Some woman are crazy, it's why I don't pass judgement on these things. Most on here are completely clueless what happens in lower socioeconomic settings.

It's also completely unnecessary to start speculating about foul play. Imagine if that was your son, and before someone even considered the condition of the victim that someone started speculating about "maybe this happened, maybe that". It's in poor taste.

Good God, we're just speculating on what happened, not making jokes. I'm sick of having to deal with babies who have to turn everything into something to get offended about.

Well, when Mrs. GK died last year, I was speculating about how it was that she died from. I was told it was from a blood supply cutoff to the colon, but that's just what the doctor told me. Maybe she was ok, but they bleeped up during surgery and they made up a story. Happens.
