The board could use a light hearted topic, so let’s hear a thing or two (or more) about ya we don’t know that may make us laugh, cry or collapse....

    I’ll atart.

I was the Johnson & Johnson diaper baby in the company’s diaper ads, circa 1975-1976.

Busta Rhymes and his body guards helped escort me through the crowd after Tyson fight in Vegas.

I was once Coached by Lou Carnesecca, in the all-star game of a youth camp I attended in NY. Sadly, this was the peak of my hoops career. Soon after, we moved to a non-basketball state... Florida. To make friends, I began playing the more popular, tennis. I became a state-ranked player, but eventually wore out my shoulder and my interest in the game.

I’ve been to 15 consecutive SEC basketball tourneys.

I first hated UK when I was 5...., after making the trip w my dad to the Great Alaskan Shootout, and seeing the cats beat my beloved Iona Gaels.

    Next...

I remember this being a “thing to do”.
    I never did.

I bought a beer for Kris Kristofferson when he was a Nashville janitor, singing songs for beer in Music Row's Talleyho Tavern. (I liked his "The Best of All Possible Worlds" so much that I bought him a beer to sing it again. Now I have it on one of his old albums.)

    Nice ones aka.

In 1969, I carved my initials in the Torch of The Statue of Liberty, when only we employees could ever get there. I'm kinda proud of that defacement of public property, although when they rebuilt the statue (1984-88), those initials disappeared into the Copper Cauldrons.

I/we planted pot seeds in the Capital Building flower bed in Tally way back in the late sixties. They grew for a long time before disappearing.

Knowing an usher at Rupp, I got access to wait outside of the visitors locker room and personally got Donovan and all the players on the team to autograph a basketball for both championship seasons. Those basketballs are now on display in my home that I will keep as long as I live. It was a great experience meeting each player and speaking to them. They were all very nice and didn’t mind signing at all.

I was a model during college at UF. In one ad, was featured in the Gainesville Sun football preseason edition/pullout back in mid 80s. Was throwing a football at the middle of Florida field in a car dealership full size color ad. All the sorority girls commented on my body thereafter. All down hill from there

I kept up my side of the social contract to keep the Century Tower structurally sound. It was hard but I rose to the occasion.

In basic training we were ordered to wash several hundred champagne glasses after an Officers Club party. We did wash them. But no one told us to rinse off the soap.

I saw U2 play at the Rathskeller, aka "The Rat," in the basement of Johnson Hall, University of Florida.
