Never been impressed of them but That’s what they are selling ha ha
Winner winner chicken dinner.
Exactly what does a DC do? If the DBs are playing too much soft coverage, the DC doesn't tell the DB coach to stop it? Or what exactly does he tell the DB coach and other coaches he's supposed to be coordinating? "Do your own thing?"
If that's true then surely you'd be able to name a human, preferably available and would be willing to accept the job, that would fit the bill?
Why would the DBs be playing soft coverage???
Afraid of getting beat.
Then we need find some guys who aren't afraid.
Probably just coached that way, not scared
If that’s a philosophy it’s a very poor one, but I still believe that the issue is afraid that the dbs getting beat
When a defense has a free safety as bad as Donovan Steiner the coaches knows that if the CBs. Gets beat it would be a Touchdown. Stiner it’s always out of position and no understanding the meaning of pass defense.
That's what I'm asking. If the DC tells them to do it, why isn't it the DC who's getting fired?
That’s the $1.8mil question. Apparently the HC believes the lousy defense this season was because of the players and 2 position coaches. Now they gone.
Well, Mullen is getting paid $6 million a year to know, so next season I guess we'll find out how knowledgeable he is. (We already know how rich he is.)
I was actually referring to who would be better at tackling rather than the coach himself...sorry to confuse.
Yup, for sure.
Why is he playing?
All better, so why so many snaps? That’s on the coach. I know Davis is hurt now. Heck, I put Mordecai McDaniel in there to develop him after the first time Stiner got beat against Ole Miss.
That’s a very good question, he has been the starter for whatever the reason for the last two seasons, the guy can’t play pass defense or can’t tackle.

The ‘U’, he will be a formidable recruiting obstacle in south Florida now.
So much for the 'needed a DC title' theory.
