Watching the JMU/Oklahoma game. JMU's #24 is 4'11" is exciting to watch.

I see Oklahoma winning 2 straight, then losing to Bama in the championship best of 3. Would like to be wrong and have JMU winning it all, but doubt that will happen.

JMU with 3 runs in the 4th to tie it up.

As usual, I’m going to be stuck with teams I can’t stand playing for it all. Hoping JMU can pull off a miracle in the next one, but odds are against it. JMU>bama>Ok>swac but I really don’t care for the last three.

I tuned out immediately after the last pitch -- how much rest does she get before the next game? Have they announced the start time?

    IMHO....
Arizona Coach Mike Candrea is a class guy for waiting until after the WCWS ends to announce his (anticipated) retirement so as not to distract from the attention on the players.

Georgia Coach Lu Harris-Champer the opposite. Grabs the spotlight today.

Bama goes with their other pitcher......and get whacked by FSU for SEVEN hits! I bet they don't try that again! :D

FSU defeating the gumps really helps out JMU. Their ace pitcher gets more rest before facing Oklahoma by playing tomorrow instead of tonight.

Was hoping Bama would eliminate fsu in the first game...smh..why didn't they use Montana ...their other pitcher walked in fsu first run..why fix what wasn't broke?

Bama had issues of their own tonight..should have stuck with their star pitcher and finished fsu out..

Not sure - but my guess is they felt Montana could use a rest and their other pitcher could get the job done. Also - they knew even with a loss today they'd get another shot tomorrow. I think they made the right call. FSU is a very good team though so give them some credit there too....

Agree, but Bama didn't score, so I'd put the loss on the hitters not their #2 pitcher.

You can't win a game 0-0. Holding FSU to 2 runs is pretty good, but Bama only got 2 hits. Gotta score to win.

Frankly, I hate both Bama and FSU. Is there any possible way they could both lose? Maybe a double default or something?

It's a horrible position to be in, but doesn't an FSU win/Bama loss help UF recruiting more? I'm thinking that Bama would be stiffer competition for a top HS recruit.

You didn't think the FSU pitcher was that good? I thought she was ridiculously good!

Didnt watch, just saw 1 inning and the stats. She must have been great shutting down the Bama bats.
My only point was that even if Fouts had pitched for Bama and shutdown fsu it would have been 0-0 as Ocalaman pointed out above. Bama hitters didnt come thru. They will get another shot today.
Guess I would hope Bama wins, but really a lose/lose game for me, hope the winner gets smoked in the finals.
