I'm actually on board with it too, in theory. There are a few industries that I think warrant a heavier hand from govt regulation and this is one of them.

Doesn't mean I'm not gonna call out the hypocrisy from MAGA when they flip flop on whatever Trump tells them to.

If you think this is bad, you should read up on what the Trump Family is doing with regard to Crypto.

Oh I'm aware but MAGA have already memory-holed that one. This one is so in your face that there's really not any way for them to defend it, so instead they're ignoring the thread.

    They covered it this morning.
Scrolled through some comments, and the general reaction is “look how he’s owning the libs”. I can respect a counter argument based on merits (which a few tried), but sadly much of our country (primarily MAGA) cares most about pissing off the other side.

The so called MSM did cover the Clinton "corruption" including the questionable land deal in Arkansas called Whitewater which occurred before Clinton was even elected and in the end failed and never really enriched Bill and Hillary as well as the scandal in which Clinton traded nights in the Lincoln bedroom at White House for campaign contribution and of course there was "travelgate" in which the staff of the White House travel office was fired (technically they were political appointees who served at the pleasure of the President) with their position being filled by friends of Bill and Hillary. As was previously stated the alleged corruption of Joe Biden which also covered by the MSM involved his sleazy son and maybe his brother scamming Ukrainian and Chinese interests into believing that he (Hunter Biden) could influence his father. There was never any evidence that Joe Biden himself benefited. On the other hand the Trump crime family including Donald himself as well as Eric and Don, Jr. received billions of dollars in benefits. Trump is making a place for himself in history. Between his corruption and incompetence he will end up displacing Richard Nixon and/or Andrew Johnson as the most reviled American president in history.

The House can impeach him a hundred times if they want. When will they have enough control in the Senate to actually do anything about it?

While the odds are very slim that Trump would actually be removed from office, if he screws up the economy bad enough there is possibility albeit remote that enough Republican senators could defect in effect forcing him to resign under threat of removal as was the case with Richard Nixon.

Except I don't think Nixon was as narcissistic as Trump and Trump would never resign.
