I know nothing about OPHS… any good? The few minutes I watched.. Stokes looked ok. Three high a few times but seemed to have good zip on the ball.. I only watched about 3 minutes though so….
Is it true that Stokes has a selfish streak to him? If so, I would see if we could snag an elite player in the portal (entice one as USC did Addison). Ruiz and his money clearly cost us our top pick so we don’t want to push the rebuild back a year. If AR comes back, which he should given the qb’s in this draft and he needs more film and develop then a transfer qb isn’t necessary in my view. Think AR’s struggles might actually work out for us for next season.
I don’t have any feeling for stokes at all .. good or bad. Kind of feel he is a placeholder? Transfer portal may be where we find our next Qb…
Stokes is a kid that will need time to develop in year 3 or 4. Not a first or second year starter like a Manning or Tebow.
Agree with most here. I think Miller is the only guy on our roster or committed to us currently that has the potential to be AR’s replacement either next year or the year after depending on what AR does after this year. Kitna, Brown, and Stokes seem to be guys that will require multiple years in the system to have a chance at being productive in the SEC.
