Injuries in defense caught up to us and Kyle trask is a grown man.
Some of u need to calm the hell down.
I’m proud of our guys too.
Well said..... The team walked into a packed house, playing the number five team in the nation, at night, and essentially traded touchdowns with them until the 4th quarter.
They played well and I'm proud of those boys.
We also did it without our pass.rushers
One of the few times in a loss that I thought our team was much improved from game 1. Defensively the loss of both starting ends was too much to overcome on defense. Some missed tackles at times, 4th quarter play calling was somewhat head scratching, but overall team played hard and Trask is up to the task.
We dont have the depth to lose any more defensive line players.
Trask showed much better pocket presence last night and had a good command of the offense.
OL got abused at times. A 4 or 5 man rush was overwhelming them some drives in second half.
Defense stayed in Gainesville. I understand Zuniga and Greenard went down but that doesn’t mean DBs can blow coverage or let LSU run wide open all night.
We need to re-think our short yardage play calls. I would love to know if our coaches have a sheet just for short yardage... plays that work. But like Princess said it's hard to win when our defense is injured.
Ditto. Defense disappointed but it’s hard to blame them. With injury there was no rush on burrow and he’s too good to let that happen. Hopefully we heal up fast
Even when we got to him, his quick and accurate release and better-than-expected scrambling allowed him to escape just in time. Not in the cards last night. Everything is still in front of us for the taking, but, there is definitely no room for any more mulligans from here on out, though. Our guys need to be on their game for SC. They fought hard last night and did themselves proud; we were in that game until late in the fourth quarter despite everything being stacked against us. Proud of the guys, especially Trask and Jefferson. SC, SC, SC focus now.
Absolutely. Went into an extremely tough environment and played very well. Give LSU credit. Their offense is legit.
In all kinds of weather....
LSU has been leaving opponent's defenses disappointed all year thus far, and will probably do so much of the year. Elite offense with a Heisman contender at the reigns, a packed house at Death Valley at night and our boys came to town and competed!
We didn't come away with a W, but I am sure as hell proud of our boys and proud to be a Florida Gator!
And hey, on a side note, it is always nice to see UGA lose......
Also, we covered the spread, lol.
Count me in, kept coming back and took the lead at one point, very proud, perhaps a rematch may happen on a neutral field.
And something we needed to go through to level up.
Building depth also needed.
With all our injuries we can't help but build depth.
