You are much more patient than I.
lol! How so?
You are willing to provide a rational explanation. I couldn't bring myself to do it.
If next year's recruiting class isn't what is expected, Coach White, a good man and coach, will be facing some serious criticisms. Billy seemed to adjust much better and faster than Mike has been able to accomplish.
But if billy is going to be our bench mark.... we are gonna cycle thru a lot of coaches.
A revolving door of coaches....being run out of town by the fans...not measuring up to BD.
I look at a coach like Will Wade a LSU. Balanced roster with depth, multi dimensional, well coached...in less than 2 years? Nobody is saying we can replace Billy D with another Billy D, but we deserve better guys. It can be done easier than you think
Yeah, there are easier ways....
Will Wade needs to come clean about recruiting allegations
Mike White and the Gators SWEPT Kentucky last season....just saying....
We’d have a better looking roster if we didn’t have knee and concussion issues. How does Wade handle those?
The season tanked when we lost to M-State...
Also on Tuesday, Casey Donnelly, one of Adidas executive Jim Gatto's attorneys, tried to introduce a wiretap recording of a telephone call between Wade and defendant Christian Dawkins, a former runner for NBA agent Andy Miller.
Donnelly did not provide a date of the call; the FBI monitored one of Dawkins' cellphones between June 19, 2017, and Sept. 15, 2017, according to court records.
According to the transcript that Donnelly read, Dawkins called Wade and inquired about LSU's interest in 2019 recruit Balsa Koprivica, a 7-foot center from Montverde, Florida.
"So you said to me in Atlanta there was a 2019 kid I wanted to recruit, they can get him to LSU, you would have funded," Dawkins told Wade, according to Donnelly. "Would you want Balsa?"
"Oh, the big kid?" Wade asked.
"Yeah," Dawkins confirmed.
"OK. But there's other (expletive) involved in it," Wade said. "I have got to shut my door ... Here's my thing: I can get you what you need, but it's got to work."
@UFGator05 - Still looking for a Will Wade?
Wasn’t Barnes hired when White was? How is Tenn doing?
Yes... hired same year.
Tenn is doing great!! Have you not been watching this season?
He has only one less win than White, though three less tourney wins. He should close that gap this season.
I am proud to say I predicted White and Barnes would prove the best two hires of that year. Howland and Avery were also hired. Howland has yet to make the tourney, and Avery has a lone post season win under his belt. Both trail White and Barnes in total wins and SEC wins.
I'm sticking with my prediction.
Ironically --- there were a lot of UT fans ready to boot Barnes after two rough seasons, and a second round flameout. And they were really irked recently when out-recruited for Isiah Stokes and Tre Mann.
Thankfully - Athletic Directors typically don't listen to fans!
He’s a sleezeball coach!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but Next season, Barnes will have a young team...just like CMW. Right?
This season Barnes has a veteran core that is performing in stellar fashion. CMW’s veteran core is under-achieving ....plus, hampered by injuries, etc (we have all documented the issues ad nauseum.)
point is: let’s see how Barnes does next year without Williams and schofield anchoring the team....
Big difference in the recent fortunes of the two basketball programs. My guess is that Barnes would have been characterized as a retread, should he have followed Billy D to Florida. I am not convinced he would have come here either.
@33hoop - C’mon! Did you really give “winner” tag to a post the endorsed Will Wade? Really??
You are a guy that knows college hoops. There is no way you can be that short-sighted.
I know you don’t like White, but c’mon...
That post just proved the author is totally unaware.
Do gator fans value sleezey cheating, now??! Say it ain’t so!
When does the hammer drop on Wade?!
